It's a great little museum. The zoo: They have a small collection of indigenous animals (e.g. raccoon, bobcat, assorted reptiles, aviary, invertebrates, etc.) The habitats are designed so kids can see the animals pretty well (as long as they aren't hiding). Curiodyssey is a mini zoo/science learning center. This is a great outing for kids during sumer break. They can explore the exhibits then play outside in the park. Definitely work getting a membership. Also, for boys working on cubs scout badges, they can find plenty of information. More

We just visited the Coyote Point Museum and were really surprised. My husband grew up in the area and only remembered the old museum. This is a wonderful museum for kids and very inexpensive.
