I really thought this winery, for as long a time as it has been in this valley apparently, would produce better wines. Suffice to say? Napa and Santa Ynez need not fear the competition (nor Livermore valley, for that matter)

I have been out to Tolosa for an event they put on and it just amazing. I love how the airplanes come right over head and then disappear in the winery as they land across the street. The was staff was pleasant and was very help. I enjoy the wine they were serving, and I will be going back in...

I think this winery put all their money into the building and not into the wine. I nor anyone I know likes the wine here. Maybe it is because we have been to over 500 wineries and have a more refined palate.
Went to this winery after reading reviews on trip advisor. Well worth a visit. The staff were genuine, knowledgeable and so friendly. Visiting with our disabled son, they were more than accommodating. Even staff that weren't dealing with us joined in conversation making us all feel at home. Bought the Pinot Noir and the unoaked chardonnay, which were well worth...

Quite different place. A modern structure with kind attendants and good wine. I went i a Sunday afternoon and was not crowded. As usual, a set of bottles were added to my luggage !
Go for the more expensive barrel tasting downstairs. It is unusual and unhurried and you have more time to talk about the wine.
We went on a weekday and got special attention. The wine was pretty good, but more importantly the facilities were beautiful. Great views of the vineyards, and knowledgeable staff answered all our questions. Buy a bottle of wine to waive the tasting fee!
Staff are very knowledgeable, and very patient with those of us who are new to wine tasting. There is a beautiful outdoor patio, so bring a lunch and enjoy your tastings outside. Lots of places for great photos, including giant lavender bushes.
The tasting room features modern decor and is quite nice. The wine is good and at times great.
Must give this place four out of five stars for their steel-barrel chardonnay - one of the best I've had. Great atmosphere for wine tasting, too. Large tasting room with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine.
