Really a nice garden. Walkways paved, water features, nice plantings. Also this was Free! We paid to park next to the garden, but there was no fee at the garden, and you could also enjoy Kelly Park which was adjacent to the Japanese Garden as well.

the coin operated ticket dispenser box is by the puddle and smells like there's fish food inside. maybe it's $5.00 to get in but I did not find anyone to actually collect my money.
It is really great and nice to visit this garden . This is very clean and very well kept. The plants are very pretty. Japanese people are really fantastic in landscaping and beautiful flowers and bonsai.
Very aesthetic layout. Gives a sense of serenity and peace. A very nice place to visit and spend time going around the garden paths.

Though not a huge garden, this Japanese-style park is loaded with beauty. Spring brings the flowering trees. Summer, all the other flowers are in their glory. I don't feel that the garden was worth $10 for parking, myself and here is why:
Pros:
*Nice, quiet walk
*Beautiful landscaping
*Easy Trek (for those that don't rely on help for walking)
*Benches and walk paths were very clean
Cons:
*Difficult to find if one had never been there.
*The ponds looked full of scum
*Cost $10 to park...

The Japanese Friendship Garden is just off Happy Hollow and is a great place to relax, meditate, or if you're lucky enough, watch a happy couple getting married.
Nice place for a casual walk n to spend an evening .. its rather small tho .. the entire place can be covered in less than 15-20 mins. the water needs to be cleaned .. thrz a lot of fish in the ponds thr and can be seen with the naked eyes ..

Go for a walk amongst the ponds with coy fish. The landscape of trees and plants is well maintained. Sit and read, and enjoy the sunshine in a peaceful surrounding!
