This park goes back many years in my history. While it has changed through the last 45 years, it is still beautiful and well maintained.

William Land Park is a beautiful large park - the perfect place for a family picnic or gathering. It has a golf course - the zoo is at one side - it has a wonderful kiddy land amusment park attached and also a fairytale town for the little ones to explore!
I love this park. Since park services have been shut down due to the state deficit, the park is maintained by local gardeners and volunteers! It's a beautiful park, my favorite spot is the bench under the weeping willow :)
My opinion on William Land Park is that the last time i have been there was a few years ago but i still love the sight of nature and the smell of fresh air when i have had a hard time at school.
feeding the ducks and having the gese come up to you is real neat. probably the best free experience for families with young kids. hint- bring plenty of bread.
Great place to take the little kids in your life. My young granddaughter especially liked the fairy tale playground - - lots of things for kids from 2-7 or so to do.
