Pay for the Mission Inn tour with their volunteers and see parts of the hotel that will amaze and impress you! A bit of walking required and there are stairs abut an elevator will get you to the sights.

Friends suggested we visit the Mission Inn while in the Riverside CA area. It was well worth the visit. As others have noted, in addition to being a historical and still functioning hotel, it is a local cultural and historical landmark. A tour includes the small museum and a tour of the hotel with its different architectural styles in various... More

Gorgeous historical building in a beautiful square! We stopped to enjoy a delicious Italian dinner at one of its stores. A mixture of cultural taste and mountain Riverside's calmness embraced the visitors with friendship in a Spring Saturday!

Do not be confused by the name. The Mission Inn is a local landmark and a national historic landmark and has always been a hotel, never a mission. It has a very interesting past and has entertained many interesting and famous people. If you are in or near Riverside, CA, then I recommend visiting this beautiful, and huge, hotel to... More

The museum is small and informative, but the hour tour of the Inn is well worth the 12 dollars. The tours shows many of the areas not open to the general public

The Mission Inn is a wonderful place. It is a beautiful building, and it is especially lovely at Christmas time. My family enjoys it!

The Mission Inn Foundation's museum provides the public with a wonderful historical perspective of Riverside's history. Unfortunately it needs more space to fulfill its ability to display more of its collection. Right now it is a little gem offering just a teaser of possibilities. Hopefully, the hotel can help to provide or find more space close by. The museum can... More

What a fabulous place, especially during the holidays. It's like being transported to Old Germany. The Sunday Champagne Brunch was beyond wonderful. It was worth the trip itself, but the scenery...you could just walk for hours trying to take in all the Christmas you could handle. I am so glad I had an opportunity to experience this historic place along... More

The museum tour was interesting and informative, and we thought it was worth paying for. Our hotel stay, unfortunately, was not a good experience at all.

Paid a visit to this inn and museum today. While it was very nice don't think it is worth a special visit. We were there during the day though so maybe after they turn on the Christmas lights it would be worth a visit.
