This is a 20 mile cycle trip down Box Canyon Road towards Mecca. Don't get me wrong, it is a grand ride. Except for the bit which is flat, it is all downhill. You get to some some interesting geology and the views over the Salton Sea are grand. The bikes were decent and the reps amenable.

Four of us just returned from Palm Desert and along with the Joshua Tree National Park Jeep tour, this downhill bike tour was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was Jane and she was so wonderful. We had a great tour of the Joshua Tree national park in an SUV with Capt Gary. Got to go off roading on dirt trails thru the park. He is so knowledgeable about the area. Had a great time. Thanks Gary! We highly recommed this company, also rented mountain bikes from them!

I rented a off road mountain bike for a week. Bike apperared to be well maintianed yet my gear shifter jammed one day and the chain broke another day. BWT response to both was superb! Rented bikes for a day to tour the Palm Springs area (not a guided tour). "Big Wheel" tours doesn't have a shop; they deliver the bikes right to your door.
