I haven't been on the lake, but have been around it quite a bit. I grew up watching the lake being built. On the west side is the lookout point, open on the weekends for free. Diamond Valley Lake offers great fishing and bird watching. There is a lookout point over the lake that offers vistas of not only the lake, but the valley below. Look for the hill that looks just like George Washington's face! Down below, there is an excellent museum. Here you will find local history, artifacts, and the bones of the mammoths... More

Nice lake, have to catch the right weather, sometimes can be really cold, or so blasted hot.  Fishing is great, marina does a great job too. More
