We took a nice leisure stroll around the Lake in the morning before heading back home and back to reality.

If your going by yourself, or in a group, or a couple, this is a Beautiful area, Nice little Lake to fish, or just enjoy a lunch. The food in the small restaurants is excellent, and the people so Friendly. For a Family Vacation, its fantastic, very woodsy nice Mountains. Ritchie H

This place is great for a family with smaller children. There is a place to swim, use paddle boards and other water crafts (non motorized). There is also a slide for kids to slide on that seems to be fun for them. You can bring your own food or buy food at park.
Just love this lake and the town. We come up here whenever we get the chance. All the town workers are pleasant; its certainly an escape from home.

They shut down when it sprinkled in the afternoon and never reopened. Very disappointing. We went back the next day. Waterslides okay fun, but lines unnecessarily slow and kids got frustrated. Lots of rule mongers, fat kids and even fatter parents and smog. Good sandwiches at the snack bar.
I've been here several times. Its a nice day get away from Los Angeles. I scenic drive takes you to this small lake.
