I am local Carpinterian and visit this used bookstore often to either donate oe buy used books. Used hardbacks are $2 and used paperbacks are $1. The Carpinteria Friends of Library Used Book Store is a great place to find a book, get sightseeing information, or just chat with friendly people. Prices are good, books are organized, staff and customers eagerly give tips on everything Carpinteria. When I was there they were open only in afternoons.
