Our group of 12 ladies booked a private tour with Gael and we had a wonderful time. Gael provides a great tour of carmel, private little gardens, galleries, bed and breakfasts, historial hotels and even let us ring the bell at the Church. Another highlight was while standing in front of City Hall, the mayor walked out and took pictures... More

My friend and I were fortunate enough to have Gael to ourselves the day we booked. But Gael would be just as great with a big group as a small one - she has so much information to share about the town and its environs. I've been wanting to do this tour for several years, and am so glad I... More

My husband and I decided to take this tour as we are frequent visitors to the Monterey Peninsula and have always been curious about Carmel. This tour was perfect for us. The tour guide, Gael, gave a most informative talk on Carmel past and present. On our walk we visited several galleries (including art, sculpture and photography), some unusual hotels,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Carmel with Gael. We live in the Bay Area and have been visiting Carmel for more than 40 years but we learned so much about the history, architecture, and the colorful personalities and artists that have made Carmel-by-the-Sea such a unique spot. We visited galleries, charming hotels, hidden courtyards and historic buildings -... More

Our walking tour with Gael was the highlight of our visit to Carmel. You can explore by yourself but Gael shows you how to navigate the villages' nooks and crannies and her knowledge and enthusiasm are refreshing. We used her overview of this picture perfect village as a guide for our 3 day visit. Beautiful town, cheap and terrific tour,... More

My husband and I went on the Carmel Walks Tour in late August and found it to be thoroughly enjoyable. This was our second time in Carmel and we learned so many fun and interesting things about this unique town and its history. I use a mobility scooter and Gael Gallagher was so willing to adapt the tour in ways... More

My husband, dog and I had a great time! We learned a lot about the history of Carmel, saw houses, places and galleries that we never would have looked at otherwise. Lots of facts, stories, information about people, and humor. The pace was excellent and the 2 hours flew by. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could answer any question.... More
