We used the Coaster during our recent stay in Carlsbad. It is an excellent way to see the various coastal cities from Oceanside to San Diego as well as go into San Diego for day trips. Very economical way to get around.

Save yourself the hassle and gas. The trip down the coast on the light rail is relaxing and effortless. We took it downtown to a Padres baseball game for the day and it was perfect. Plus, you can drink on the way.

I travelled on it several years ago, it was for pleasure and not for getting somewhere on time. It was clean and a nice ride to take children on.

make sure you plan your route to the zoo first- have to take 2 buses after the train. May include walking a few blocks to make a connection.

We stayed in North Country,Oceanside Ca, for the week. We wanted to go into San Diego a couple of times but not wanting to deal with traffic and parking, we took the coaster. You can't beat the price or the convenience. The cars are clean roomy. Before the end of each trip an agent will punch your purchased ticket. Don't... More

Took the Coaster down to San Diego to watch the Padres play. It's such a fun, convenient, comfortable way to travel. Highly recommend it to everyone in North County.
