Also, a great walk besides Fiscillini Ranch, however usually more crowded as adjacent to Inns & Restaurant.
A spectacular stretch of central California coastline with breathtaking ocean views and empty beaches. There are numerous motels and restaurants in the area for overnight visitors that offer ocean front rooms at fairly reasonable rates
We loved the fact that the restaurant has blankets to share for those outside diners that aren't close enough to benefit from the space heaters. Beautiful sunset - what more could you want?
There are lots of small hotels right along Moonstone Dr. with beautiful views of the pacific ocean and the sunsets. Its a short drive maybe a mile. There are beach access along there and a nature walk way. Check it out I think you will love it
This drive offers great ocean views and spots for watching the elephant seals. They are impressive and there is information pamphlets available to learn about their sea travel and beach migration. Great place to unwind while watching the waves too!
Really nothing to look at here- mainly all the motels and just two restaurants on the road. I don't recall much about the street parking as we stayed at one of the motels and just walked across the street.
About the only way for me to truly relax is to find myself on Moonstone Drive. "Crowds" are small and quiet; wildlife abounds; the ocean is always here -- always calming, sound of the surf, smell of the salt water, birdsong, ground squirrels, deer, wine, oh the wine! What's not to love -- but let's keep it a secret!
NIce quiet street lined with hotels. Park your car and walk along the wooden boardwalk for great views of the ocean.
Lined on one side with hotels but all are smaller scaled, most one story, and well kept. Nothing but ocean on the other side!
