The beach is clean, and there are beautiful, smooth rocks to admire. It is mostly a sandy beach and a great place to walk and enjoy God's creation.

I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk along the coastline and watching the sunset. This cute and quaint little street is full of places to stay and eat. It felt like home away from home.

Dark sand, relaxing, not busy... Great sunset. We just hung out and watched a guy kite surf as his golden retriever came over to sit with us. We didn't find any moonstones for "california jade" in the sand.

This is not a beach as one would think but rather a walking and sitting to watch the sunset beach. Nice walk way along the ocean.

It is beach with a mix of sand, tide pools, striking volcanic rocks and sunning seals. Bring a camera.

This is a beautiful beach, especially quiet early in the morning. Be sure to bring some snacks for the extremely friendly squirrels. I want to stay longer next time!

Cambria Ca. is one of those little California "Artsy" towns that's actually worth going to see. Lots of galleries, great food, and a real laid back feel. Located on hwy.1 (PCH) its a nice place to walk around before going on to Hearst Castle or up the coast to Monterey. Watch for the elephant seals on the beach, just north... More
