The main palace complex includes anumebr of buildings of which the Jahaz Mahal is only one. The Hindola Mahal is another great building and the complex has a fantastic cafe set amonst the ruins.

This was sultan's harem - lucky guy has a city of 15000 women in this pleasure palace.
Have you give the Madhya Pradesh Tourism the kudos for keeping the place so well, well manicured gardens and most importantly the palace has been kept clean. Hope they keep it this way

Like this place and we will come back in future.A lot of monuments,
fantastic panorama views,Moghuls Akbhar and Jehangir conquered
Malwa,ASI makes a great job,met only one foreigner,it is a idyllic
place.The gates of the citadell are super and Rupmati`s pavillion
offers you a grat view over the Narmada- Valley.
Locals are very friendly and not so " busy "...
