The Bhimbetka rock shelters are a series of caves near Bhopal where there are drawings made by the cave dwellers. The site is around 60km from Bhopal but the high way was in such bad condition that it takes 3 hours to reach the place. Please carry water and snacks to the shelters as there are no stores nearby. The caves are really awesome. I enjoyed them at length. Every step has a board containing the details of that spot. There are total of 15 spots to see. Last one containing the biggest figure of an animal. lot of the images are washed out with time but the remaining one are very well maintained by MP Tourism. Absolutely Recommended... More
