A small version of Petra. Lovely and enchanting, Definitely a must to see. We saw it late afternoon and the lighting was perfect.

Pale rock gleamed in the early morning sun. Fine sand slipped under our feet. Ancient frescoes told of a wine press. Narrow ledges needed navigating but the hot tea proffered at the top as we sat to rest revived and refreshed as we gazed at the view. GO!
If you arrive early on day one of a two day trip, this is an excellent introduction to Petra, and an easy walk. We stopped here before checking into our hotel.
If you have the opportunity to visit here at night please do. It's a great experience. Take your camera.

Entrance is free (for now), and much smaller. but it's very pretty including a sig, and treasury. I recommend to spend the 2 hours visit if you are in Petra area.

This was so enjoyable- really could picture how the merchants lived and could climb up to at least one of the buildings. Definitely go!
