The shrine is on the way from Tanmarg to Gulmarg and one should visit the same. Extremely peaceful and divine. Made out of wood and very well maintained. Although not too crowded but its so peaceful and divine.

7 km from Tangmarg, on the way to Gulmarg, stop at this sacred shrine of the Sufi Saint, Baba Payam-uddin Reshi (RA). It's secluded from the world. Sit next to his ziyarat, pour your heart out to him, irrespective of your religion. Clear the lump of your throat, weep if you wish, & come back blessed.

It was snowing lightly when we drove towards the shrine..there were only 2-3 local visitors there and our guide assured us that this will not be the last time you're visiting here.. There is a firm belief that your wishes will be fulfilled by the blessings of the generous saint. And to express your gratitude after your wish is fulfilled,... More

For the non-muslim visitors this shrine is a good side trip on the way back to the city from Gulmarg. Although not much of a tourist spot so don't expect tea stalls or food stands scattered around it. It's pretty much a religious shrine and all etiquette is expected when visiting such places. Professional skiers though like the surrounding area... More
