There is so much to see and do in this village and it is bigger than you think. Fans of Harry Potter might recognise some of the Abbey (inside and out) and Cranford (and similar costume drama followers) will certainly be familiar with the streets if you can imagine them without the parked cars and the pillar box! Lots of... More

This is run by the National Trust in the pretty village of Lacock. If you are interested in the history of photography then this is the place to come. It's hard to imagine looking at some of the exhibits how far the world has moved on in terms of the digital era. A fascinating place to spend an hour or... More

Great house and museum for all ages. Beautiful house and grounds with plenty of old and modern history, such as the Harry Potter filming sites. Each room had an information sheet to read which is great to understand what you are look at! Beautiful village, which straight away you recognize from Pride and Prejudice, with plenty of pubs for tea. More

We had an interesting visit and the NT guides at the Abbey were so friendly and informative. Walled garden was pretty too. The museum was good and photographic exhibition stunning. Plenty of places to eat (tea rooms / pubs) and take your walking boots as there's some good walks from the NT carpark. More

We went to Lacock Abbey and museum today and would really recommend it. There was so much to see and the guides were very friendly and helpful too. We had an enjoyable lunch in the National Trust Tea Rooms and then a walk round the picturesque village of Lacock. A lovely day (and the sun wasn't even shining)! More
