Tregirls beach is 500 metres north at grid reference SW 911 769. The north-facing beach is in the River Camel estuary and is backed by dunes. The South West Coast Path runs behind the beach. Great for kitesurfing. At low tide the beach extends half-a-mile into the estuary and at its northeast point forms the infamous Doom Bar. Traditional Cornish... More

My favourite beach in Cornwall especially in the Off season. No amenities so not crowded. Dunes, rock pools and shallow water at low tide but washed clean every day at high tide.
