This town was very beautiful, it had a nice old feel to it. The ice cream shop next to the visitor center was fun for the kids, almost like stepping back in time.

The Bentonville square is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and has a great collection of quality restaurants and shops. The visitor center fits right in. It offers great insights into Sam Walton's vision of turning Walmart into what it has become today.
Great exhibit and story of Sam Walton's success story. The 5&10 store brings back lots of memories. This story of Sam's success is a true story of the American Dream

Was a learning and fun experience on how Walmart customers returned various items purchased with weird and funny reasons. Sam's office was also part of the visit.
It was a short and sweet visit that allowed for a more informative and intimate insight into the man and his family that started it all!
Nice walk thru. Staff was friendly & enthusiastic. Gift shop & ice cream parlor were nostalgic (grape Nehi in bottles!). Nice park in the square across the street,...

This is the original 5 & 10 that the Waltons opened and the museum takes one through the growth to modern day.
Everyone in Arkansas, which I had not visited before, was friendly, including the people in the original 'Walton 5 & 10'.
Not a lot of stuff and it was mostly personal family stuff. We did not know what to expect so we were somewhat disappointed. If you want good food go to Mimi's in Rogerville, which is close and a very upscale area.
