I just finished my 2nd visit to Lake Atitlan and once again I used the travel/excursion services of Los Elementos Adventure Center - which is owned and run by Lee & Elaine who absolutely ROCK! I love the lake and I love that I have such friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable help (Lee & Elaine) to enhance my time there. This... More

Please don't go here. Greed is alive and well and you will be consumed by this couple who are equally yoked. I went with my son and daughter-in-law and my two grandchildren. NOT CHILD FRIENDLY Out of the mouth of the wife a quote, "anything to shut those kids up" Need I say more. I will say Lake Atitlan is... More

This reviewer was not a client of Los Elementos Adventure Center. She did not contact us for activities or tours, and did not use our Adventure Center services. To be honest and precise, she rented a house from us thru another website unrelated to Tripadvisor. We were sorry she did not enjoy her experience at our property. Guatemala is not... More

Our hike with Lee was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Atitlan. We knew roughly what kind of hike we wanted--something fun but not killer strenuous, with views and people going about their daily activities. We described it to Lee, and he totally delivered. We loved the hike he took us on from San... More

My friend and I stayed here in August of 2011 (yes, I'm lazy and finally getting around to writing this) anyway, we stayed for 3 days and could not have asked for a better time! Lee and Elaine went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and amazing. We rock climbed, hike, swam, kayaked and took a tour... More

I was so pleased with the service and friendliness of Lee Beal, his wife Elaine, and tour guide Sam! They took the time to make sure my friend and I experienced the whole area of Lake Atitlan and had an absolute blast doing it. We arrived on a Wednesday night and that's when I contacted Lee. He responded immediately and... More

At my wife's urging, we hired Lee and one of his Mayan guides (a personable and knowledgeable 28 yr. old) for a day long adventure. I had thought that we didn't need a guide, as we were doing some hiking on our own. I was wrong. We went up to Santa Maria in the hills by vehicle and explored that... More

Lee was our local guide during part of a group trip to Guatemala. He is an American who has decided to make his home in a Mayan Village on Lake Atitlan and has been living there for several years. He obviously loves his adopted home and has been accepted as a trusted friend by his Guatemalan neighbors. It was a... More

Lee Beal was our group's excellent guide for several days as we traveled by bus and boat throughout Guatemala. The highlight was the boat trip to the village of San Juan on the shore of Lake Atitlan. Lee has a home on this beautiful lake, with his wife Elaine, and is a welcomed friend by the Guatemalan people. Obtaining an... More

We stayed at Lee and Elaine's guesthouse in Jan.13. It is a waterfront casita on Lake atitlan. Lee was extremely helpful in setting up a full day of sightseeing in two separate villages. He provided us with a guide that spoke very good English. Alex was so born to do this kind of work and did every thing for us... More

Lee and Elaine are great! Go with them; they are pro's when it comes to lake and hiking adventures around Lake Atitlan. How did I find them? I got off a lancha (boat and main means of transportation on the lake) and literally wandered into their yard by accident. Once there, I knew it was them because I'd researched them... More
