We spent a couple of hours there on Thursday last week. The creek is dry because the water is being diverted to Tombstone, Arizona. Definitely worth the long drive from Tucson to visit and enjoy this rural area, especially when the hummingbirds are there. More

Visited in May 2011, but have never stayed there - only day visits to Hummingbird feeders and then hikes up Miller Canyon to see Spotted Owls and other rarities. We have stayed 4 times, in each type of lodging, the old caretaker cabin, the new cabins on the hill with compostible toilets and the "house" with 2 levels.
