Wonderful experience with crampons but great care taken by our guides for four 60 year olds. Beautiful and fun.

Beautiful scenery, clean and confortable catamaran. The day flew by fast on this gorgeous trip, and oh! So many great pictures! I was glad there weren't too many people, otherwise there world be some pushing on the decks. Worth the high price. Must take some food-- we made sandwiches and crackers and drinks-- the hotels offer a lunchbox for around... More

How can a describe my trip to Upsala Glacier: - Amazing - Beautiful - An experience out of this world If you have the opportunity, do it! We took the one day tour with Estancia Cristina, but if you have the opportunity, stay there. Only open in summer.

I may be biased as my room in the hotel we stayed at was called 'Upsala'. But in my honest opinion, this was the most spectacular site. It was massive and truly amazing, i was gobsmacked just by the sheer size of the whole site. Beautiful!

The history of Upsala Glacier is interesting as the glacier is not named after the person who "discovered" it but the University that funded the person (except the University is Uppsala). The Upsala glacier is larger than its more famous cousin, Perito Merino and until recently it was receding. From the boat on Lake Argentino you get a good feel... More

We did the glacier boat ride visiting the Upsala, Perito Moreno and Spegazzini Glaciers. Amazing views. Must do this tour when visiting patagonia!

the journey across the lake is scenically breathtaking with every corner more incredible than the next... onto the landing place in a quiet protected valley with the historically significant sheep farm and then onto amazing rock formations, beautiful alpine wilderness, the soaring condors and then the glacier... WOW!!! overlooking the glacial lake with the glacier in the back grounds is... More

I went on a kayaking trip amongst the glaciers ice bergs and it was incredible. An unforgettable experience, although it was quite expensive!

We went on this trip from El Calafate to celebrate a big birthday, and what a day out it was! After a coach trip to Puerto Bandera (where we had to pay the National Park fee) we embarked on the well-appointed (refreshments and toilets, etc) Quo Vadis for our trip to the Upsala, Spegazzini and Perito Moreno glaciers and the... Boat ride to the glacier, short walk to Cristina Ranch to have lunch, took 4x4 ride further out to see another edge of the glacier, about 45 minute ride away.
