December is a little late to see whales, but we did see some. It gets a little bumpy out there, so make sure you take something for motion sickness if you are prone to get it. I loved the trip.

We managed to see a couple of southern right whales. weather was cloudy so it wasn't ideal for taking pictures but seeing the whales definitely made up for it. the boat ride was also very enjoyable as we got to see the coastlines where there were a lot of birds perched on top of the cliffs

It is expensive, and you are in a bout surrounded by way too many people. But it is well organised, and what you can see is amazing. I had a whale a meter away from me, just amazing.
