If you are in town you should stop by and see this area as it is amazing. After you walk and watch the people protest you can move on with your day and see more interesting things. It good for a picture or two and worth saying you were on the street but that's about it. Don't build your hopes... More

with 3 million living here and 3 million and growing who are driving without passagers plus I do not know how many thousands of taxis - it gets a bit hectic during the week. The picture you see is during a holiday or weekend for sure. But is it a street. More

Put on your bestt walking shoes, wear a big-brimmed hat, and go for it. This is a long street with long blocks and few trees, except in the median. The Obelisko is located here. It's a major thoroughfare with lots of traffic. More

You don't need to make a special trip to see 9 de Julio as you will keep coming across it in your travels around the city. It's the world's largest avenue, 16 lanes. You can't cross in one go, but there's a green area in the middle where you can wait, even seats in some places. An absolute must. More

Widest Avenue in the world is the local myth. May not be, but it transects the center of BA, see the Obelisc, the French Embassy and imagine the demolition that took place to build it in the 1930s (from Belgrano to Córdoba Avenues) and in the early 1970 (south and north of those avenues), a whole city block wide, lined... This avenue is a must see in Capital Federal. It's really wide with beautiful trees and statues. Lots of businesses and huge billboards. You can also see and reach the Obelisco from this avenue. If you look closely, you can see signs advising "no bathing". The street is packed with cars on the weekdays and protestors will shut down sections... More

This road is a little bit scary to cross. The traffic goes one direction in some of the lanes in the morning and different in the evening. The area around this though is nice so it is worth the multiple light crosswalk experience. More

This is the widest street in Buenos Aires. In total I counted 18 lanes of traffic at the intersection of Corrientes, and is where the Obelisk is located. It takes two lights to completely cross and the street actually divides the city in two. The Obelisk is the large monument that looks like the Washington Monument in Washington DC, but... More
