My family and I plucked up the courage to do paragliding after spending time watching others whilst on holiday in Olu Deniz. Our youngest who was 11 at the time even did so. It was a little bit more expensive then town as we used Escape which is based at Lykia World were we were staying but well worth the... More

3 of us enjoyed a Paragliding flight from Babadag back to our hotel with Escape Adventures, fantastic views of the Mountain and surrounding coastline.

Last year we were taken only part of the way up the mountain and jumped from a dirt track and the flight lasted for about 15 minutes. This year... More

Booked up with 'Gravity' due to the good reviews. Cannot praise them highly enough. Hoped to do this before we left UK so upgraded our travel insurance for 1 day, just £3 each, but Gravity assured us we were fully covered with them so probably not necessary. In May there was still some snow on the top. The jeep ride up presented some amazing views. Paragliding isn't cheap but is well worthwhile - though the ride is shorter than the salesmen promise and hassle to buy a DVD of your descent is off-putting.

Babadag is the Turkish name meaning father mountain...... We made the mistake to agree to go paragliding from the top of the mountain 6,000 metres high where ice sheets never melt..... Unfortunately we were not given appropriate outerwear for the experience and ended up getting chilled to the bone when flying through cold shafts of wind after jumping off the... More
