we really enjoyed this place.The snake park was good although the curio shop needs a sprucing up.very friendly and helpful staff
if you are looking for a cultural, Zulu experience in the foot of the valley of a 1000 hills... this is your place! what a lovely group of people that run the place, such exciting experience...and that good old fashion Zulu beer (which you can taste)... thumbs up!!!! i love Phezulu...

I took my overseas family to have the Zulu experience at Phezulu. They really enjoyed every minute, although, they were a little parched after sitting in the hot sun.
Phezulu offers a croc and snake park which also has tortoise. There are guides that tell you a little more about the crocs and snakes. Phezulu offers a number of animal attractions (snake park, crocodile park and game drive), a Zulu cultural village, a restaurant and a shop. Our overall impression of the place is that it is tired and overpriced. The shop has the usual African trinkets available at any tourist shop - nothing appeared to be made locally which was a real shame.... More
