The area is kept clean, easy to walk through. Many many shops selling all kind of stuff. It is shipping heaven for the ladies. My wife drag me back there for round 2 the next day. Prices are cheaper than Beijing, there is almost no reason to haggle. Indeed, some shops put a board front and centre saying "no haggle".... More

This street really lives up to its name of being ancient and cultural. It is a lovely place to stroll and to see Chinese paintings, brushes, stones, gems and more. Do note that it may seem touristy but the prices are still relatively cheaper in Tianjin as compared to Beijing. More

If you're in Tianjin, this is a must see. You can shop at the local shops and purchase traditional clothing and little souvenirs to trying many of the local snacks. If you're interesting in a genuine fake Rolex, they've got them too. The buildings are done in traditional Chinese architecture and beautifully painted. The place is kept very clean and... More

This is a revamped cultural street. The street is pretty neat and tidy with some repetitive shops around. You can haggle a little at the stalls on the street but the boutique shops seem to be fixed price. There's really nothing fanciful here.... just get some small souvenirs and that's about it. I'd rather spend the day doing something else... More

Keep haggling.... got great deals. Best to have a local do your negotiating as they charge very high prices to Westerners. Watch your wallet. Amazing craftmanship on some pieces. More

Promoted as a must see attraction but seriously, pretty overrated I don't know what a fuss was about. Bought some souvenirs and that's about it. More

Bustling avenues of markets and stalls in an ancient chinese atmosphere. Get to see some unique chinese things like the toffee shaped into all sorts of pictures. Most of the bag and luggage shops have good quality rip off brands out the back if you ask. Watch your handbag as it is can be crowded. More
