We Had good time with Roy today. Low tide had boat stuck in the channel when we arrived. We helped Roy get the boat unstuck and off to catch bait and start fishing.We caught 3 nice snook in the 10-15lb range, 3 Small jacks (but they fight hard) and 3 saltwater catfish. We have fished with Rudy Zapata 3 different years since 2010 and usually at least 3 times while we are there. We really love the Zapata brothers fishing, very reasonable and know how to catch the fish. When you fish with Rudy you never know what boat you will get. Sometimes you get Roy's boat and other times other boats....

Capt Roy and his mate Rudy (brother) are phenomenal, two local guys who have grown up here with a family that goes back generations in fishing the area. Nothing fancy here, boat is about 25' long, no cover from the sun so wear your sunscreen. Fished with them twice so far and going out again this week. Lots of fruit,...
