My husband and I took in the zoo, along with our bag of carrots to feed the animals. We enjoyed our tour very much, the guide was terrific!

Not a lot of animals, but you can buy a decent sized bag of carrots for $1USD (500colones) to feed the animals. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed it. The animals are well kept, the spaces are lush but the tour takes you on a walk on the outside of the fence where you look at the animals and maybe some will come towards you to eat some carrots. It's cool if you have kids cause they would enjoy seeing the animals but other than that I would skip... More
