This place is a joke. Ok I am a vegetarian so I am already biased against this place BUT I came to learn. First off they have you go into this room with this creepy hologram of a guy that is telling you how healthy and happy the cows are....we all know that isn't the case, we have all seen... More

Thought this would be a good placfe to take the kids on a hot or rainy day, but it really is just a bunch of information about the cattle industry in Alabama. Needs more work to make it more interactive and interesting to keep the kids' attention.

We recently visited Montgomery and were looking for something to do with our 4 year old grandson, when I wife learned about The Mooseum. My favorite wall paper ever! STEAKS! Very informative with a fascinating video man and nice spaces for children's educational learning.

Took our 6-year-old granddaughter here on a visit to Montgomery. Sponsored by the Alabama Cattlemen's Association, it is a free educational center near the State Capitol. Apparently, mostly school groups go there, because we went on Columbus Day, and it was empty. But great fun for our granddaughter, who had the place to herself. There are several spaces for the... The bulk of the Mooseum is just like a typical museum: videos, exhibits, pieces of memorabilia... most kids won't really find that engaging. But the back half is entirely devoted to play! There's a play kitchen with aprons and chefs hats; rodeo gear and saddles; a barrel; a stuffed cow. Really a cute place to let the kids play and... More
