A nice stairway climb up the hill. On the top, it was a spacious and windy historical surrounding. But the view from the top is just a normal town view. Even during sunset, nothing special.

Malacca is famous for once being one of the most important trading ports in the world. The fortifications were built to ward off attacks by sea, but thanks to a land reclamation project they are now ring-fenced by shopping malls and hotels. Which somewhat destroys the historic charm. The ruins however are still well worth visiting.

Although I came here in the afternoon, a lot of people, and quite crowd, I find the place very nice. From the hill, you could see the entire Melaka and the view is amazing especially in the afternoon. A must see in Melaka.

This is a focal point for visitors to Melaka where quite a few minor attractions are located. At some point, everyone makes there way to this area of this historic center. The Hill itself has been a strategic vantage point near the mouth of the Melaka River for many centuries. It is the location of the historic A Famosa Fort,... More

Go there in the early morning to beat the crowd, avoid the hot sun and enjoy the breeze on the hill top.

A historical piece of Melaka's history. It is n easy walk to the top but good walking shoes would be ideal. There is not really much to see at the top, so please dont expect a breath taking view. There are historical relics at the top which I found interesting, but others may not. Morning or late evening is the... More

Give your legs some exercise and take a trip up the hill. You get a decent view of the harbour and some nice photo opportunities with the canons, ruined church. I didn't visit any of the museums as I went too late, but they may well be interesting for short visits if you have time to kill - quite a... More

Very peaceful spot and it is basically where many European residents were buried. Loved it as I'm a history kinda person but it doesn't give much shelter to those looking for a cooler environment. No air con here.
