if you want to see malaka from high, i think this can be cheap option because it is free. Windy on top and good for pictures huntter.
A nice stairway climb up the hill. On the top, it was a spacious and windy historical surrounding. But the view from the top is just a normal town view. Even during sunset, nothing special.
Malacca is famous for once being one of the most important trading ports in the world. The fortifications were built to ward off attacks by sea, but thanks to a land reclamation project they are now ring-fenced by shopping malls and hotels. Which somewhat destroys the historic charm. The ruins however are still well worth visiting.
Although I came here in the afternoon, a lot of people, and quite crowd, I find the place very nice. From the hill, you could see the entire Melaka and the view is amazing especially in the afternoon. A must see in Melaka.
This is a focal point for visitors to Melaka where quite a few minor attractions are located. At some point, everyone makes there way to this area of this historic center.

Very peaceful spot and it is basically where many European residents were buried. Loved it as I'm a history kinda person but it doesn't give much shelter to those looking for a cooler environment. No air con here.
