The church itself is not so interesting. It's small and being repaired now, but the view from there is amazing. Beautiful landscape.

A nice view, very pleasant with a lot of small shops around with artcrafts and tipical foods.

A nice old church on the hill of Olinda, with lots of gold plating on the alter and the various frames around the walls. A large stone plaza graces the front entrance. Note that this church has only one steeple, reason being that taxes were only payable to Vatican once the church building was completed.

Very old and beautiful church. What an amazing view to the city of Olinda from there!

It's oddly enough located very near bars and other tourists vending spots. At night, the lights make it a bit garish, but definitely is interesting place to visit.
