Its worth taking a short trip by the toy train which runs through the city roads and all the traffic make way for the same

This train is loud! Took it from Darjeeling - Kurseong (3 hours), was a nice ride with superb views. However be prepared for very liberal use of the horn, which ain't quiet. Overall very happy with the experience.
