Sathyam was the first multiplex to come up in Chennai. It has kept up with the times by adding facilities and luxury as required. They still have 2 rows of Rs. 10 tickets which is unbelievable. It is undoubtedly the multiplex with the best sound in the country.

i am watching movies here from 1996 when i joined my college in chennai. now the theatre setup is par excellent. the eqquipments are latest and good sound technology

It is a neat and well maintained Cinema Theater at Royapettah. It is very close to Mount Road. They are separate parking ground which can accommodate many many cars.

The infrastructure.. The sound quality.. The interior design.. The seating arrangements.. Even the parking facilities... You just won't find an equal to Sathyam Cinemas anywhere else in the city.. Best movie cineplex in Chennai. Their screens and the entire Satyam complex in Express Mall are a fantastic movie going experience. They have the cleanest and poshest public toilets in Chennai!

It is one of the oldest multiplexes, so the revamp and modernisation is always great to see. The seats and screens are great. While parking can be nightmare, it is managed quite well and so far we've never faced a problem. Their biggest challenge are the snack counters which can be quite bad and they forever run out of stock.... More

sathyam has good quality 3d projection and they keep the 3d glasses packed to avoid dust or dirt, good service, seats are comfy ;)

This was my first cinema experience in India. It was not the last, but it was the best. It is huge, with huge halls. It not a new cinema, and not perfectly maintained, so expect average cinema conditions. But the experience was very good. It is not easy to get tickets though. Try to get tickets in advance.
