A Venetian Gothic confection modeled on London's Big Ben overlooking the Oval Maidan in one of the most picturesque parts of Mumbai. You can't enter it but if you're there at the right time you'll hear it chime. This entire area is worth a nose around with your camera or a short break watching the cricket on the Oval Maidan.

Name says it all - it's a clock, on a tower, in the middle of Mumbai. But hey - the time is actually accurate. :) Having said that, the tower itself is a lovely example of English architecture.

The Indian version of The Big Beg. Built by the British. It is a standing example of the era which seems to have gone by with the Rajabhai tower standing still to witness.

Located in Fort area. Just 2 km away from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station. and about 0.7 km from Churchgate Railway Station. The clock tower is a part of Mumbai University campus. Another architectural beauty. The tower is made in combination of Venetian and Gothic Styles. It can be seen clearly from oval Maidan.

The clock tower of the university of Mumbai is a beautiful sight. More interesting is to watch the City dwellers enjoint the large expanse of fields in front of the university. Cricket is the most popular activity...surprise... Take the time to sit and watch the world go by, it's a breath of fresh air in a fast moving city. Join... More

Situated on the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai, the Rajabai Clock Tower is yet another example in the city of fusion architecture (in this case Victorian/Gothic) with indigenous touches (it’s made from locally mined buff-colored Kurla stone). I passed by here on multiple occasions as I circumvented the area on my way to one location or another. The... More

This European style clock tower is a tall old monument soaring into sky in the old town, but you don't see it being mentioned often in guide books as a must see. I choose to differ.
