Rather excellent and varied museum. The included audio guide makes a few missteps but is both entertaining and useful.

With a wide range of collection dating back to medieval period and even olden days, this museum has got a lot to offer.. May not be the best museum in Mumbai, but surely worth visiting.. I liked the architecture the building.

This museum feels so neglected it literally hurts. Its best feature is the beautiful facade of its building. If you have to visit it (getting away from the heat and sun, are we?) - make sure to skip the zone dedicated to animals, as it's not really worth your time.

Great place to hang out and see a lot of different thing from historie and this century. We didnt like the animal sector, it looks poor and plastick.

It has a great collection of the ancient culture art and craft. It also houses the weapons and costumes donned by the Maharaja and peshwas of Maharashtra.
