May be vising this place during monsoon played a pivotal role in influencing me to put a 5 star rating to this place but this is one such place in Mumbai where the crowd is energetic and you see happy faces around. Minor Suggestion: Do carry a water bottle when you visit this place & Don't buy umbrella there, they... More

Impressive but crowded, you are better to reenter at night/evening when it is cooler, you can get great photos still and less hassle from street sellers

What cannot escape your attention are the hordes of tourists that just swamp the area around the grand arch, walking in every direction and trying to get the best angles for photoshoots. Its the combination of the imposing arch, the old Taj Hotel, the new Taj, the bay and the Mumbai skyline that work like a charm. Early morning is... More

It was packed at most times of the day - security is pretty tight, so be prepared to be checked-over. Early morning is the best time to go, as its mostly quiet. Like any congregating place, its a place to watch your bags!

The symbolic gateway is a pleasure to visit in the early mornings. A lot of pigeons to feed, a silent gateway and a beautiful boatyard with an sunrise will make the perfect blend. Have a chai and just relax as you watch the sun come up.

Bang opposite the Taj hotel, is the most iconic structure. Once you are done oggling at the beautiful British facade, you can take a ferry to the Elephanta caves.

There is not much to say about it, it is an awesome sight. It is also the departure point for the boats going to Elephanta caves, which are not too interesting
