I scheduled my tour for late in the day as it was mid April and too warm earlier. It was great fun walking around Mumbai as it got dark watching how the city changed from one mode to another. My guide was excellent with an astounding knowledge of the city and a huge enthusiasm for it which was infectious. It... More

I accompanied some friends who were visiting Bombay for the first time. Being in Bombay all my life I never expected to enjoy the walk as much as I did. Viraat took us back in time and showed us how charming our good old Bombay used to be. The information that he shared with us was excellent and well rounded.... More

I did two walking tours (Apollo Gate and Heritage Mile) and both were excellent. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly.

I did the Churchgate walking tour and when we ended on Marine Drive, I was sorry it was over. I would have liked to do another tour, but I didn't have time. The guide was a very knowledgeable and pleasant university student. He brought along lime sodas for us and we also stopped for tea and coffee midway through the... More

I scheduled a walking tour for my first day in Mumbai. It's beautiful and relatively cool in the morning so it's a nice walk. My guide showed up with a hat and a bottle of water for me. He was a very pleasant university student who spoke e excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the city providing names of... More

This was great way to spend the morning and learn a bit about Mumbai. While the walking tour does have a set path by some interesting architecture, I think the best part of the tour was the guides knowledge and enthusiasm for his city. He seemed to know just about everything about this city and we could not stump him... More

We booked this as we had a very short stay in Mumbai before going off to Hyderabad. It was well worth it and I would strongly urge anyone visiting Mumbai (or living there!) to take one of these tours. The walk took us to many of the wonderfully impressive buildings and showed us a slice of the city that is... More

I went on the Churchgate/Heritage Mile walk with Jahan last week. He was an excellent guide--he really knew a lot about the city and its history. He gave thoughtful and knowledgeable answers to my questions and really took time to make sure I had a great experience. If I had more time in the city, I would have done their... More

I took the Apollo Gate and Front Bay Walk. My guide, Viraat, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bombay, taking me through Ballard Estate, past the Town Hall, and to the Gateway of India, etc. I also learnt a lot about Indian culture and politics (and cricket!) more generally. What's more, Viraat also wrote me a list of some... More
