A divine stretch of green so well preserved. I am told that the government wanted to make a commercial complex here bu the Army resisted. Well done.
We were thrilled to know the history of Indian Army and their operations. It always is a feeling of pride whenever we hear our come to know the work armed forces. The ground is well maintained and spending an hour or so is recommended
Loved it, sight seeing is amazing. Not many people come to this place as it under army control. However its open to civilians as well.
On our trip back from Taradevi Temple, we visited this beautiful maintained Army museum housed in colonial styled house dedicated to our soldiers. This place is closed on Monday's. The Green House with various plants is also well kept. The big parade grounds behind the museum are now used as a helipad too and the golf course provide pleasure to... More

a long walk down the hill but the beautifully maintained grounds are worth a visit. There´s also an army museum we didn´t visit. Sitting in the shade overlooking the grounds and enjoying the view is a highlight.
Cant be missed if you happen to visit shimla..history is very well explained in this museum and location is beautiful
Winding down the road I wondered what I was heading for then wow!!! I was then surprised to go through a gate with a soldier on guard. But it was magical, evoking thoughts of times gone by. Restful and quiet. The Army museum was perfect low key yet informative. Even my wife enjoyed the museum, the grounds themselves left her... More
A beautiful setting amid the cedar forest. The museum is very interesting with lots of colourful exhibits. The best bit for me was looking out over the racecourse-cum-cricket pitch-cum-army assault course. What a wonderful. They even provide a bench for you to soak it all up.
