I think this is the basic rule on which National Science Centre is designed, located at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The National Science Centre is a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. It is a original institute engaged in the popularisation... More

Having been to Delhi a half dozen times already on business, I had already seen the major (and perhaps minor) tourist attractions. As an engineer I've always enjoyed science museums, so when I heard there was one in Delhi, I had to check it out. It's only about 30 INR for admission and it's the same rate for locals and... More

Although it is not really great by World standards yet this place still manages to hold its own place and still makes a nice outing for the kids - to stimulate the young minds !!

Poorly maintained!!! The building is very nice- a kind of contemporary architecture with juxtraposition of several units to achieve the required corridor-type design: labirynthian!!! The number of staff should be increased to keep a watch over the visitors and to help them out, just to avoid eve- teasing which often takes place in interiors! The equipments are in pathetic state... More

Hearing of a science centre, one conjures up an image of a well equipped centre full of exhibits, working models, illustrations and experiments that you can see, touch and try. The NSC is located in one of the most prime spots in Delhi inside a huge building - but what a waste. Its poorly lit, poorly maintained with staff that... More

Opens at 10 am ( as do most of the museums in delhi ). Went on a saturday. Already lines of school children had piled up. 2o rupees per head; including children. There are 3D shows mentioned at counter, which upon enquiring they said "check timings after sometime". After half an hour when we went to get tickets for 3D... More
