go, and visit, if you have kids...its a nice place..but its not one of the main attractions in delhi. Delhi has a lot of history...this i would say is...if you are rushed for time, can easily miss it. and if you have kids....show the kids...but this sort of thing should be there any main city.

being one of India's first planetarium the experience of watching the night sky was simply amazing. Although I think its a bit outdated now and does not quite reach upto expectations. But you can still see busloads of school children descending here every day to have a great journey through space.

This is the only planetarium in and around Delhi. Its got a nice dome and projection system but the whole infrastructure seems to be really old. Seats are old, torn, sometimes wobbly. Sound system is not that great either. Queue management is poor and you need to run a grab a seat once the doors open. If not maintained better,... More

Its not a NASA run facility, so keep the expectations accordingly. The place is now highly improved and there are few things that are worth the visit. The movie in the planetarium is a good experience. Check the show timing before you reach there. There is also a problem of parking, so plan accordingly.

To be in a planetarium & see a show on the night sky, the planets, the stars, the galaxies, the universe has always excited me since childhood. Seeing the same in my son's eye is like reliving the past.

The subject matter and the presentation was amateurish. On the day I went there a comparison of astronomy and horoscopes were discussed. It appeared the program was designed to attract people who believed in astrology. The presentation was made probably by a doctoral student. This planetarium in my opinion is a good training ground for future astronomers.
