Okay, I get it--there are a lot of Wats in Thailand and Lampang. The reason to go here is for the two color shots of the Wats reflected inside other buildings; these occur real time and you can see people walking by, taking pictures, and lollygagging. Wat Phra Tat Lampang Luang is also one of historical place of Lampang. So apart from going there to make merit and all holy things, you can go there to see historical building and learn history.

You can feel the sacred spirit at this grand and ancient monument. Bodhi trees are propped up with large forked sticks according to a northern Thai tradition. There is a newer building that is decorated in an incredibly elaborate gilded style. Pony cart rides are available.
