Our accommodation was 75 m from Long Beach was a stroll away. We would go to Lym's Rice Bowl for quick bite of lunch or a fruit shake or beer. I'm not sure I would be comfortable with little children on this beach in that there is a fair shelf in the sea depending on the tides and sometimes we... More

This beach was quiet good for our family as we could run around and play as it was quite quiet. The only problem was the rocks on the the beach. Paradise Pearl Resort was lovely to finish our day off and watch the beautiful sunset. If you want to see the sea life though don't go here as there isn't... More

Beautiful outlook, great for swimming, easily accessible from Ton Sai, and festive. Don't expect to see great sea life though. Go there and then finish off the day with dinner at Paradise Pearl Resort's restaurant on the beach, or at their reasonably-priced spa which closes at 10pm.

I love the sandy beach, day and night. Try swimming at night! Wonderful experience! We went end of March. It wasn’t very crowded. We swam every evening. The water is so hot at around 30 degrees. Get a Thai massage, while over looking the sea.

Some place on Long Beach are not very clean, so care of rubbish. In the water you might walk on stones. Sometimes you have to go far out to be able to swim.

The second main beach from Ban Saladan town. Maybe slightly longer than Khlong Dao? Sand is very soft, and the beach is wide and clean, with beautiful calm water for swimming. Most of the other beaches transform to ugly rocky messes at low tide, not Long beach.

Long Beach isn't the best beach on the island but it's a good one and the location is great. There are many places along the beach where you can easily have a relaxing swim at either high or low tide. there are bits of shells and coral along the beach so don't expect the pristine white soft sand with emerald...
