A average building - nothing special about it - except that it overlooks the Jait Sagar lage. Not much to recommend it except the guards who give you a combined ticket to other buildings in the city open to tourists and the guards when we visited - Tariq and Narayan - who gave us lot of very helpful material about...

The Mahal is poorly maintained... but the paintings are gorgeous. See them before they are gone due to abject apathy! Overcharging the tourists without maintenance is going to be the bane of this place!
