A must do thing in Nashik. They charge around Rs. 600 for 5 minutes. But definitely worth it. One would have to inquire and register in advance. Being an army area, the Gliding area may not be open for civilians all around the year. Hence a call beforehand is always helpful.

One of my relative had hired a bungalow some years ago and had words of praise for Deolali. Frankly I found it disappointing, may be over the years the area has deteriorated as it happens with almost all places in India,

Very beautiful place to live away from the hussle bussle of cities like Mumbai. Revitalise your lungs with fresh air and enjoy the beautiful gardens and well kept environment by the Cantonment. Deolali has the highest number of Sanatoriums for all communities. This is the place where Dilip Kumar's parents first arrived from Peshawar and his brother's family reside there.... More
