Though it looks dirty and the river is full of garbage. The design of the ghats is something. I visited early morning at the ghats for photography and it was a treat. The activities around the ghats are very rich and varied. there is also a vegetable market along the ghats. Do have a stroll through it. Enriching experience.

There are many religious rituals performed here & hence the place appears to be littered but that's the case with all religious places. Though it's a little tricky to locate since there are quite a few roads that lead here but ask your directions to shop... More

Nice place to get the blessings of holy Godavari & Shri Ram. Apparently Lord Rama performed rituals at this place. Nice water. Just that people need to be a little more sensitive to the water and keep that place clean. Lot of shops and hawkers. I was told you get very good raisins at this place, not sure, I didn't... More

Ramkund is very sad place.. very nasty and the entire place smells like pee. you have to watch every step because people have used the entire place as a toilet. The river Godavari is also very dirty. Nothing much to see to be honest. I personally felt it to be waste of time.

It is unfortunate that this theerth is very badly kept. I suggest that one takes a dip in Godavari in Thriambakeshwar and not in Nasik.
