Thirumani is in the city, its 2 hour program. First hour is Kathakali. second is kerala martial arts. Unless you are ardent art lover you can give a miss for the first. Second show is a must watch. Think twice if you have children below 8 year, they may not like to sit for longer unless you prepare them to.

Punarjani conducts daily shows of Kathak and Kalari in the evenings. I saw kalari which was brilliant and gives the feel of Kerala. A must watch show.

Went to both the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. While the Katahakali show was excellent it was the Kalari performance that totally blew us away. The sheer skill and daredevilry of the performers is incredible. A must do for anyone on a trip to munnar.

A performance of Kathakali, Kerala's classical dance and their traditional martial arts is definitely a must-see. Photo-op post Kathakali performance was a downer with one artist being drunk and his mannerism being less than polite. If not for this, I would have rated 5/5.

We loved the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. However, we felt that the place where it is located can be changed. If not, it could be made more comfortable. Overall, a must-watch show!

Worth visiting this place even if you miss all other tourist places in Munnar. I enjoyed each and every moment for entire 2 hours. Authentic traditional Kathakali dance and martial arts show. They are bunch of hard working people who are really trying hard to keep the traditions alive. Hats off to all the performers there. Do not miss this... More

My team and I attended both Kathakali and the martial arts [Kalaripayettu] performances. Kathakali Performance ----------------------------- The Kathakali show was good overall. Including the preview of the artists putting on their make up. But I felt there was scope for improvement in the some of the performances. The intro section was quite useful for me personally - since my knowledge... More

It was the first time for me to watch any traditional dance form of India. And I was spellbound after watching that. It's amazing to see how beautifully they maintained the traditional art form. Hats off to the performers to also, who spends a lot of time get into the costume & spend a hell lot of time for the... More
