Natural surrounding .... not very far from the panaji city... have to take a ferry to reach the place .... may consider visiting in case you are a nature or bird lover or got some spare time in Goa

take the boat which charges you 900 for 12 people entry fees is 50/-. Saw so many varieties of crabs but not many birds...Many mosquitoes if u are going for a 1km walk within the santuary. Its a quiet place with lush green mangroves. Its worth a try as the island looks beautifull via the ferry.

This added another dimension to the history. Excellent guide from our hotel made arrangement for a very early tour- good guide. Perhaps it could have been one hour rather than an hour and half but well worth the early morning rise- and viewing a large crocodile an added bonus
