This old church is right in the center plaza, so why not stop in for a minute. Its wooden floors and architecture are pretty neat, and it's a landmark if San Pedro. I suggest dropping something in the donation box, the poor church looks to be falling apart.

The village's church is a great example of colonial architecture (to me, at least). It's certainly worth to hop int. Then again, I can't imagine anyone walking around in SPA an not stopping by!

This shoudl be stunning and sadly it isn't as it needs money spending on it. Tourists should put money in the box as it really is a pretty little village and the main church

It's not worthy to go to the city to visit the church. If you are walking around and stop by ok, but there s nothing unusual to see.

But if you can also visit some churches in the very small villages of the high plateau, you will be rewarded. They are great, at par with the ones on Chiloe...

We joined an evening service, sitting near the back. At one point, a man entered from a side door in front of us together with his dog (on a lead). It's nice to think that dogs were welcome there too.

This is a delightful little church with while walls and roofs made of compressed mud. The inside has a ceiling all made of wood with a permanent smell of natural resin which actually gives the church a mystical atmosphere.

Very old and charming church, don´t miss it. You can see the ceiling made from the cactee wood there. And it is in the centrum of the village

What a pretty church and so well kept. It is very ornate by European standards and so colourful. The structure of the church is very interesting with its separate bell tower and cactus wood is used in some of the carved woodwork.

I was there for almost a week until someone pointed out that the church was worth a visit. One measure of such buildings is that they can seem to be more than they are. It is not Notre Dame, but for a rustic country church it is really rather moving. And cool inside...
